Rugosa Friulana
RUGOSA FRIULANA ZUCCHINI SEEDS
Cucurbita moschata
Wrinkled and warty butter yellow summer squash look a bit like our awful American crooknecks, but the flavor and texture of this Italian zucchini is completely different and absolutely fantastic. Taste is sweet and the flesh is firm and dense, never watery or seedy.
These compact but vigorous bush plants are exceptionally disease-resistant and among the most ideal selections for small gardens. The flowers are large and crisp and hold for much longer than other squash blossoms once picked, making them perfect for market gardeners. Early and easy. Pick frequently for best production.
