RATTLESNAKE BEAN SEEDS
Phaseolus vulgaris
These were always the best tasting and most productive green beans in our Iowa garden. Vigorous vines tolerate heat, humidity, and drought, and produce tons of pretty pink flowers and long striped green pods with excellent fresh flavor. Great for freezing and canning as well. Begins to set beans in as little as 60 days from sowing. Produces all season if kept picked. Easy and space-saving. Dry beans are like tiny pintos and likewise make great soup and frijoles refritos.
Plant seeds directly into warm garden soil. Provide a sturdy trellis or structure for vines to climb. Highly recommended for new gardeners growing in hot Midwestern summers.
Packet contains at least 50 seeds.
