CHERVENA CHUJSKI PEPPER SEEDS

Candy sweet red roasting pepper from Bulgaria that has fantastic flavor both fresh and cooked. Thick flesh is crunchy, juicy and seriously sweet. Glossy 6" tapered fruits on sturdy productive plants. An excellent multipurpose pepper for all gardens. First ripe fruits about 80 days after transplant.

Start seeds indoors around 8 weeks before the last spring frost. Tuck seeds just beneath the surface of moist soil, press to keep snug, and mist generously with warm water. Cover with plastic to maintain moisture and temperature. Kept warm (around 80°F) and moist in bright light, seeds germinate within a week or two. Once seedlings have true leaves, prick out to grow on in individual 3” pots or 2” cells at warm room temperature in bright light. Harden off carefully before transplanting into warm soil once all danger of frost has passed. Relatively compact but productive plants. Space around 1’ apart.
