Beautiful and uniform glossy pink slicers on sturdy productive 4' plants. Fairly early, around 70 days from transplant. Excellent sweet-tart tomato flavor that lingers on the palate. Perfect on a BLT. Makes great tomato juice. Bred by Roger Doucet in 1975 at the Station Provinciale de Recherches Agricole in St. Hyacinthe, Quebec.

Recommended for cool maritime climates and short seasons and especially the cool misty pockets of the Hudson Valley. Listed as determinate, and stature is indeed compact, but fruits ripen over several weeks. In 2019 I was harvesting big ripe fruits up until the first frost. I fall more in love with these pretty tomatoes every year that I grow them.
