One of the hottest peppers available. Fleshy red peppers have a delicious sweet fruity flavor and make a genuinely good and very very hot hot sauce. Not for eating out of hand unless you are a total masochist. Rated at over 1,000,000 SHU. Always use gloves and possibly eye protection when handing these peppers.

Seeds require heat to germinate. Even with consistent heat and light, these seeds may take up to four weeks to sprout. Plants require up to 120 days to ripen fruits. Start seeds anytime and grow them in containers. If started early enough, you’ll get some fruits in your first season. In the second season you will have more than you know what to do with.

Long-lived perennials, these plants can be kept in successively larger containers for several years and overwintered indoors so long as they receive light and the occasional water. Use neem on indoor plants to control aphids and spider mites.
