Ipomoea tricolor

Pure white flowers on vigorous 12' vines. Best grown in combination with Giant Moonflower. Blooms from dawn through late morning, and well into afternoon on cloudy days. Flowers appear much earlier in the season than those of Moonflower, so your garden space won't go to waste.

Nick and soak seeds before sowing indoors or out in spring. Here in the Northeast we always start members of the Ipomoea genus indoors 4-6 weeks before hardening off and transplanting into warm soil after all danger of frost has passed.

Will self-sow in many gardens, especially in the South and Midwest, which can be a nuisance. Choose planting location wisely or commit to frequent weeding. The large and unique seedlings are easily identified and removed.
