Almost absurdly bright bubble gum pink cutting celery from China, reselected and organically grown by Frank Morton and Wild Garden Seeds. Fast vigorous growth and assertive aromatic flavor. Suitable for microgreens. Best sown directly into rich garden soil in early spring, or into flats in a cool greenhouse or under lights in winter. Some plants will bolt quickly and should be culled promptly and used for a spicy stir-fry or pho. Other plants produce nice juicy substantial petioles. Save seed from those plants that are the largest and the last to bolt.

Not to be confused with typical garden or grocery store celery. Chinese Celery is grown primarily for the purpose of cooking and features lots of slender crunchy flavorful petioles. Leaves may be used as an herb and are fabulous when dried and crushed along with sea salt and celery seeds.
