DRAGON TONGUE MUSTARD

Brassica juncea

ORGANIC

Not to be confused with the heirloom wax bean of the same name. This is a gorgeous horning mustard that creates a crisp vegetable for stir frying and pickling. Sweet and crunchy and so very beautiful. Selected by Frank Morton from a cross of horned and miike mustards.

Where summers are hot, Dragon Tongue is best sown late in the season for harvest in autumn and early winter. Sown in early spring, it will produce beautiful leafy greens with crisp juicy stems that are good for soups and salad, but it will not horn up or be as colorful as when maturing in cool autumn weather.

Packet contains at least 500 seeds.
