What can I say about this incredible cress that hasn't already been said? The most popular of all of Frank Morton's botanical creations and now available virtually everywhere, Wrinkled Crinkled Crumpled is also one of the easiest and most nutritious of all salad plants. Highly recommended for budding market gardeners.

Sown indoors or out, this cress germinates promptly and grows fast. Little puckered leaves are held aloft by strong stems that are suitable for bunching. Looks very much like the Normandy Garden Cress of Vilmorin. Flavor is bright and peppery. Fans of arugula and mustards will fall in love.

Seeds may be sown directly into the garden in spring and autumn, or in flats in a cool greenhouse or indoors under lights. Plants may be harvested at anytime once true leaves appear, but they near maturity at about one month. Requires little input besides water and light. In the heat of summer they can be grown in well-watered flats in cool bright shade. Easy peasy.
