Hardy and beautiful deerproof perennial to 2'. Flowers open to deep dark wine, fading to first magenta and then lavender. The absolute best color of any A. millefolium cultivar currently available from seed. Excellent and long lasting cut flowers.

Sow indoors or out at 70°F in spring. Slow growth initially but seedlings are very tough and resiliant once rooted. Prefers to grow in full sun and dry soil but is widely adapted to diverse garden habitats.
