Golden Feverfew
GOLDEN FEVERFEW SEEDS
Tanacetum parthenium ‘aureum’
Spectacular strain of the ancient herb known as Feverfew. Bright chartreuse leaves come true from seed.
Golden Feverfew is an exceptional bedding plant, providing contrast in both color and texture. It requires full sun, no fertilization, and very little water once established. It is fairly deerproof, having a distinct chrysanthemum-like fragrance. It is suitable for containers, and looks especially fetching in an orange or blue pot. Pinch the growing stems of the young plant to shape.
Feverfew is easy to grow from seed: press into damp soil, barely cover seeds with fine vermiculite and mist with warm water. Kept warm and moist in bright light the seeds should germinate within two weeks.
Hardy to zone 5 at least. Will self-sow where it is happy. The bright chartreuse seedlings are a thrilling sight to behold in spring!
Packet contains at least 100 seeds.
