GERANIUM KISS TOMATO SEEDS

Solanum lycopersicum

Developed by Dr. Alan Kapuler, this indeterminate dwarf multiflora produces hypertrusses of delicious one ounce heart-shaped tomatoes with a little nipple end. Sturdy plants that top out just over 2'. Suitable for containers and small gardens. Tolerates cool maritime climates.

Due to the very compact nature of these plants, they may be started indoors several weeks before other indeterminate varieties and grown on in a deep 6" pot under lights or in a sunny south window before transplanting into the garden or larger container after the last spring frost. This will most often result in earlier fruit set and a longer window in which to harvest.

Tuck seeds just below surface of moist soil, pressing to keep seeds snug. Mist generously with warm water and cover with plastic to maintain moisture and temperature. Kept consistently warm (around 70°F) in bright light, seeds will begin to germinate in about a week. Uncover promptly. Prick out seedlings once they have true leaves and transplant into individual pots to grow on at warm room temperature in bright light. Water from the bottom and allow soil to dry out a bit between waterings. Fertilize weekly with dilute fish and seaweed emulsion.

Though the plants are stocky and strong, they should be staked to prevent buckling under the weight of heavy fruit set. One good stake will do!

Packet contains at least 15 seeds.
