SKYREACHER TOMATO SEEDS

Tom Wagner has bred and selected several truly great tomatoes in my lifetime, including our beloved Lime Green Salad. In Iowa one of my favorites was the now very common Green Zebra, which has excellent flavor in the hot humid Midwest, but virtually no flavor in the Northeast. Skyreacher seems to have some of the same great qualities as Green Zebra, and those of interim selections like Vintage Wine, but is far more flavorful and productive in cool maritime climates. Wonderful!

These indeterminate plants are very productive and incredibly disease-resistant. Scarlet saladette fruits are fairly uniform and emblazoned with sunny stripes, and look very much like the old Diadem tomato from John Lewis Childs. Very highly recommended for budding market gardeners as these plants are relentless and the fruits are generally unmarred and attractive and very presentable in those big blue berry baskets. Gardeners used to losing their battles with blight will likely find an ally in Skyreacher.
