Savoy Tatsoi
SAVOY TATSOI SEEDS
Brassica rapa var. narinosa
Pretty rosettes of adorably crumpled spoon shaped savoyed leaves. Incredibly cold hardy; can be harvested from beneath snowcover. Young leaves are perfect for salad. Whole mature plants may be steamed, sautéed or roasted. Delicious sweet flavor, not pungent. In spring and summer plants will grow to around 1’. In autumn and winter plants will hug the ground in tight rosettes. Easy and nutritious.
Start indoors several weeks before transplanting in very early spring. Sow directly into the garden in early spring for summer harvests, or late summer for autumn and winter harvests.
Packet contains 500 seeds.
