Cichorium intybus

Sweet and tender cutting chicory for salad. Fast and easy. Several cuttings may be had from a single sowing. Excellent in combination with Salad Bowl lettuce and Arugula. Makes a great gateway chicory.

Plants sown for cutting may be thinned to 6” or so to produce flouncy pale green rosettes. Overwintered plants sometimes produce super sweet and crunchy rosettes in very early spring.
